Awesome Stay!

Jan 15, 2013 by Maria L.

We have just returned from 3 weeks touring Florida, and Villa Nomade was by far our best choice. Very nice location, close to everything in Key West. The apartment itself was also very nice, with a modern kitchen, and all the amenities we could wish for. Immaculate clean, and well maintained. We especially liked to secluded terrase, where we could hang out in the nice Key West weather.Communication and payment with the owner was swift and with no problems at all. Again, Villa Nomade was the best place we stayed in, on whole trip, and I would definitly recommend it for anyone visiting Key West. We will return !

Great Location & Price

Dec 28, 2012 by Buckeye

We stayed at the Villa Nomade condo during the power boat races. We chose this condo because of the proximity to Duval St and all of the main KW attractions. The location (AND price) can't be beat! A 5 minute walk to Duval St and 10 minutes to Mallory Square. We were glad that we selcted this condo in the complex as some of the others were along the busy entrance. This condo as well as Villa Soleil are tucked back in the complex and in a very quiet area. We really, really enjoyed the outdoor patio area. It seemed this condo had a little nicer patio that some of the others. Our friends stayed in Villa Soleil owned by the same owner and it was also very nice (although on the second floor - with a balcony rather than a patio). It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen, so that we did not have to eat out every meal ($70 for 2 breakfasts at Blue Heaven - give me a break!). Overall the property was very clean and well equiped. Before you go buy groceries - check to see what they have there - especially spices. There were 4 Montreal Steak seasonings (I guess we all had the same idea!). We did not use the pool as we rode our bikes to Ft Zachary Taylor beach to enjoy the water. It looked very tidy, albeit small. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this condo or Villa Soleil. If we ever return, we would definately stay here again. One resturant to note - New York Pasta was amazing. We highly recommend!

Perfect Stay in Key West

Feb 02, 2012 by Lauren T.

Found the condo to be ideally located, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Walking distance to the beach and close to the center of town. Looks just like in the pictures. We found the neighbours to be charming as well, and were pleased when the housekeeper checked in with us during our stay to make sure that everything was satisfactory. The next time we are in Key West, we'll be staying here!

Key West Escape

Jul 06, 2011 by Michelle F.

My family and I always enjoy escaping Miami and spending time in Key West. Staying at Villa Nomade made it especially nice this visit this past June. The place was well-equipped with all cooking utensils, TVs in both bedrooms, washer & dryer, etc. Is was very clean and comfortable and a great location in the Truman Annex. We will return.Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Perfect Vacation!

May 13, 2011 by The Lans

We just got back from an amazing Key West vacation! Our stay was perfect! We were visiting Key West for a wedding and spent over a week at the Island Nomade Villa. We had tons of friends and family staying at or around the Shipyard condos and everyone voted our place as best decorated:-) We felt so comfortable and very at home at the condo! It has a great patio for waking up and having coffee or sitting and having a glass of wine before walking down to see the sunset at Mallory Square. It is in a great location...walking distance from everything! It has a really nice pool as well...plenty of chairs to lay out...we were able to get them every day regardless of what time we went. It is also very close to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach...it's walking distance, but more fun to get there on a bike...which you can rent for the week or by the day. We had a great time in Key West! Already wishing we were back there:-) We 100% recommend staying at the Island Nomade Villa! Thanks for having us!Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Still dreaming about Villa Nomade!

Apr 27, 2011 by K & A

My husband and I stayed at Villa Nomade the week after Thanksgiving 2010. We are still dreaming about it 5 months later. The location was perfection - within walking distance to everything. The condo was beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home. The deck was a tropical paradise for coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon. Joe and Jack were so great to deal with. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here. We hope to come back soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

our vacation was so wonderful. Villa Nomade is well maintained with a stilish decor. The best possible location in Key West, also very secure. No need for the car, walk distance to everythink. Definetly recomend this property. Thanks for the nice vacation, Joe and Jack!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Fishing and relaxation

Dec 13, 2009 by Dr. Mary

We had a great trip to Key West. The weather was perfect and this little condo was in a great location to get to anywhere. The owners were nice and provided us with all our needs. It took a white to figure out the parking and guard thing as they are on two different streets but no big deal. The condo was clean and nice and the neighbor's cats were more than accommodating. I love that the chickens wake you up in the morning. We will be back. Thanks Joseph. Dr. Mary, Rogers and KenRecommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

Villa Nomade

Nov 10, 2009 by Wendy & Bill

We recently stayed at Villa Nomade and had a wonderful time. The condo was equipped with everything you need. We were within walking distance of everything. The linens were very nice and helped to provide a restful night to get up and start all over again! Villa Nomade provided us with our slice of paradise. I would highly recommend this condo.Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Villa Nomade - tres bien!

Apr 13, 2009 by Dawn Dawn

I was quite nervous about renting a condo sight unseen as I had never done it before. As soon as I walked through the door I found my fears were definitely unfounded. When I was doing my research on the internet I found that a lot of the condos had the same boring decor. This place was even nicer than the pictures. Very tastefully decorated and well maintained. The bedding was really high quality and oh so comfortable. I slept like a baby! The back patio was very private and was surrounded in beautiful tropical plants and trees so we spent a lot of time out there when we weren't exploring Key West. I loved having my morning coffee out there. The neighborhood the condo was in was really quaint and I felt very safe there. Joe was pleasant to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Perfect Location

Jun 11, 2013 by Charmaine D.

This rental was selected for a birthday celebration and a first time visit to Key West. The location was perfect for walking to all the must see attractions, restaurants, and bars but still quiet enough (and with a parking spot!) to make it very relaxing. The condo itself is just as pictured and described and was better than staying in a hotel for several days. The owners were very helpful with the reservation and also provided suggestions for things to see and places to go. Would highly recommend!

Great Location, Great Condo, Great Vacation

Nov 26, 2012 by Jenn O.

After renting 4 other places in Key West, this is the best one yet and we (2 couples) would definately return. Location: Truman Annex area is the best place on the island for being close to all the main attractions but still quiet so you can relax. We rented bikes (highly recommended), but you are only 2 blocks from the Green Parrot and Blue Heaven. Great villa: new clean furnishings, comfortable for 4 adults, tall ceilings so the place feels big, nice beds, good hot shower, wireless and lots of touches you may not think about (enough hooks and towel racks for 4 fluffy towels to dry, key box with code so easy entry if the group gets split up, closet organizers so you have someplace to store your clothes out of sight, etc). Pool: there is a shared private pool just across the parking lot. Much better than a private pool because you meet the best people in Key West. We met a couple celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary who used to live on the base in Key West when they first got married. The Owners: are you wary of renting from a website? Joe and Jack are very efficient and responsive. They have a registered rental company, contracts, and they call you to pay over the phone by credit card (no cash, no need to worry about entering your info on a website). We are huge fans of Key West but had not found a great place to rent for a decent price - until Villa Soleil.

Villa Soleil

Oct 24, 2012 by Nancy S.

This was our second time staying at Villa Soleil and we plan many more visits over the years. The condo is wonderfully located, beautifully equiped and well maintained. We would have nothing but positives to say about the condo, the owners and the neighbours. The front and back porches provide a terrific retreat for morning coffee and evening gatherings and the inside furnishings of the unit are lovely . This time, we were surprised to find a number of our favourite haunts closed for the month of September and it took several days to get over Blue Heaven's closure for renovations. But Key West has so many incredible places to eat, things to do and bars to visit that it would take years to experieince it all. The location of this condo is particularly appealing as most everything is within walking distance or a short bus ride. For anyone interested in a little carribean, a little american, a little luxury and a really fun holiday, this is the place to be.

Key West

Oct 24, 2012 by Laurie S.

Villa Soleil was perfect! A very good location (Truman Annex) and within walking distance to Duvall Street and the Zachary Taylor State Park. The condo was clean and modern and had everything you needed for an extended stay, including WiFi. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, a full kitchen to make meals and two decks (front and back) to sit out on and enjoy the weather. We actually rented a tandem bike, which made it easy to ride around the island and take in all of the sights. We would definitely stay here again if we were to head back to Key West for more than just a few days.

During The Boat Races

Nov 19, 2011 by Krisi T.

What a great neighborhood close to the action -- not real close to the marinas, however the exercise from the walk was well deserved after over-indulging. The condo is decorated very nicely and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Ended up loving the built in alarm clock of the rooster outside. Two adult couples were completely comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing your get-away with us!

The Perfect Place To Stay!

Nov 08, 2011 by Lori

A few of us girls enjoyed a long weekend in beautiful Key West. Villa Soleil was fabulous. More than we could have expected! I am already planning a return trip with my family. The description was right on, clean and very well-maintained. The location couldn't have been better. We walked to the beach, boats, shops and all the fun times on Duval street. So nice to not have to worry about driving anywhere. I highly recommend staying here and have already given the information to several friends that have asked. We had an excellent time! Went with our 2 teenage daughters. Weather was great! Our condo was clean, neighbors were quite, felt very safe and at home. Everything with in walking distance. Rented bikes, visited the beaches, did an all day adventure tour, went fishing, lots of shopping(so many shops and gallarys). Great place to eat close by was La Creperie, also had supper at Carolines on Duval street great price lots of good food, great Pina Coladas and pretzels just off the corner of Elizabeth street down lazy lane . Definitely come again to this condo. Key West Getaway

GREAT condo! Clean, very comfortable, completley furnished with everything you need. Location is excellent. We rarely drove our rental car. Two block walk to Duvall Street where there are very good restarants, and outside bars. Short walk to the nice size, clean pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Lighthouse, Ft. Zachory beach and Hemmingway's house are all within a short walking distance. Enjoy a sunset cruise, snorkel, deepsea fish, or just kick back and take it easy. Evening sunsets at the pier are a must. Our 19 year old college girl loved the high speed internet. This is our 2nd stay with Joe. You will find him great to deal with, and very prompt answering any questions. Drive from Miami (its a pretty drive), or fly directly into Key West International, and you will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Great Renter and Rental Unit

Apr 03, 2013 by Micah S.

We recently returned from a fantastic vacation in Key West. I looked at several rental units before booking Villa Soleil and I am very happy I chose to do business with Island Nomade Villas. Joe and Jack were excellent to do business with and I wouldn't hesitate one bit to rent from them again in the future. After paying in full via credit card 30 days before arrival they sent us the check in procedure and in the matter of minutes upon getting through the gate of the complex we were in the unit and then on our way to Duval St. Everybody at the complex treated us like we lived there permanately and having access to a pool as well two deck areas to get some sun/shade anytime of the day was great. The location was better than I could have imagined and the unit was modern, clean and comfortable. We picked up some groceries and were able to cook food and relax just like we were at our own home. Do not hesitate to book this rental unit, you will not be disappointed!
